Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania, and Italian President Giorgio Napolitano and his wife Clio inaugurated an exhibition, dubbed "Jordan: Bridge of Cultures", at the Quirinale Palace in Rome.

They toured the exhibition, which will run through the end of January, and where several historical artefacts are on display. The exhibition is part of the existing cooperation between the Department of Antiquities and the Italian government.

The Department of Antiquities organized a similar fair in the Italian city of Florence last July.
