King, Queen extend condolences to Saudi Royal Family

Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania Al-Abdullah on Tuesday arrived in Riyadh to pay their condolences over the passing away of the late King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz.



During a several-hour visit, His Majesty the King expressed deep and sincere condolences and sympathies over the death of King Fahd, voicing confidence that King Abdullah Ben Abdul Aziz will continue the march.



King Abdullah was accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Princes Feisal, Hamzah and Hashim.



Also on Tuesday, Her Majesty Queen Rania, accompanied by Princess Noor Hamzah, extended her deepest sympathy to Princess Jawhara Bent Ibrahim, the wife of the late King, at Al Yamameh Palace in Riyadh.



During the visit, King Abdullah was accompanied by Prime Minister Adnan Badran, Senate President Zeid Rifai, Royal Court Chief Faisal Fayez, Lower House Speaker Abdul Hadi Majali, Chief Islamic Justice and King's Adviser for Islamic Affairs Izzeddine Khatib Tamimi, King's Adviser Ahmad Hilayel, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff General Khaled Sarayreh and Jordan's ambassador to Riyadh Qaftan Majali.
