Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania attended part of the final tournament of Arab Champions League at Amman Stadium between Al Faisali team and Wefaq Stef. Wefaq Steff won over Faisali 1-0.

Prince Ali Ben Al Hussein, the president of Jordan Football Association, crowned Wefaq Stef as Arab League Champions. Faisali claimed silver, and the Egyptian and Saudi teams tied for third position. The Arab Football Federation presented federation's shield to King Abdullah; Prince Ali has received the shield on behalf of His Majesty.
