His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday discussed during a telephone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin bilateral relations and the latest regional and international developments.

Discussions also tackled the international anti-terror campaign with the two leaders insisting on intensifying efforts to combat radical ideology on the basis of a comprehensive strategy that seeks to safeguard the world’s security and stability.

The two leaders also stressed the importance of reviving peace negotiations between the Palestinians and the Israelis on the basis of the two-state solution and finding a comprehensive political solution to the Syrian crisis.

His Majesty and Putin voiced keenness on enhancing Jordanian-Russian relations in all fields.
