His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday telephoned Sultan Qaboos Bin Said to “check on the situation” in Oman after Cyclone Gonu killed at least 25 people.

During the phone call, His Majesty offered “his sincere condolences and sympathy” and said Jordan is ready to provide any assistance to the sultanate.
