His Majesty King Abdullah on Friday stressed that Jordan will work intensively with the new Israeli government and the Palestinian National Authority to achieve peace, security and stability in the region.

In a phone call with the Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, the King hoped that Olmert's election will be a step towards resuming peace negotiations between Palestinians and Israelis.
