King performs Eid prayers

His Majesty King Abdullah on Friday joined worshippers in performing Eid prayers in the Southern Military Zone Mosque in Aqaba.

During the service, Chief Islamic Justice Ahmad Hilayel delivered the sermon, which highlighted the significance of the holy month of Ramadan and the importance of Eid in embracing the concepts of solidarity and unity.

The King was accompanied by Prime Minister Samir Rifai, Royal Court Chief Nasser Lozi, King's Adviser Ayman Safadi and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. General Mishal Al Zaben along with a number of high-ranking officers and officials.
