King Performs Eid Prayer

His Majesty King Abdullah II participated worshippers in performing Eid Al Fitr prayer in Hamza Ben Abdul Muttalib brigade mosque.



The King and prayers listened to the Eid sermon which was delivered by Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Ahmad Hilayil in which he outlined the necessity of the holy month of Ramadan and fasting for Muslims.



A number of Princes and members of the royal family also performed the prayer in addition to the Prime Minister, Lower House Speaker, President of the judiciary Council, King's advisor for Security Affairs and Director of Public Intelligence Department, King's Private Advisor, Minister of the Royal Court, King's advisors, ministers and senior and high ranking officials.



His Majesty the King also visited tombs of His Majesty the late King Hussein, the late King Abdullah 1st, the founder of Jordan and the late King Talal Bin Abdullah where he laid wreaths and recited verses from the Holy Quran.
