His Majesty King Abdullah on Saturday joined worshippers in performing Eid Al Adha prayers at Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque in Aqaba.

Aqaba Awqaf Director Sheikh Suleiman Bulbul delivered a sermon in which he said in Islam Eid is a day of obedience to Allah, and is also a means by which Muslims can organise their relations with people around them.

The sheikh added that Eid is a day of solidarity and love and that it is a chance for Muslims to visit each other and help the poor.

Meanwhile, King Abdullah received cables of congratulations from several world leaders on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
