His Majesty King Abdullah on Friday paid a surprise visit to a number of underprivileged families in the Khalid Bin Al Walid neighbourhood in Marka, east of Amman.

King Abdullah checked on the families' living conditions and listened to their needs and demands.

The King instructed concerned officials to meet the families' needs, especially providing them with proper housing.

The families voiced appreciation for the King's visit, part of a series of surprise visits made by His Majesty to areas across the Kingdom to get acquainted with citizen's living conditions.
