His Majesty King Abdullah on Saturday left for the United States to participate in the Sun Valley Economic Forum in the US state of Idaho.

The Sun Valley Economic Forum has been held annually since 1983, with the participation of leading figures from around the world to discuss political and economic challenges and issues.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II was sworn in as regent.
