His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday ordered urgent relief aid, including medicines and medical equipment, to the Shifa Hospital in Gaza.

Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization Secretary General Abdul Salam Abbadi said a convoy of the relief aid will leave for Gaza next Saturday.

The organization recently dispatched two convoys of assistance to the Palestinians to help them survive a severe shortage of essential commodities.
