In implementation of His Majesty King Abdullah's directives, the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization on Monday sent urgent aid convoys to the Lebanese and Palestinian people.

Secretary General of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, Abdul Salam Abbadi, said a convey of 20 trucks carrying 300 tonnes of tents, blankets, medicine and food supplies will head for Lebanon while another convey comprising 25 trucks with 350 tonnes of relief aid will go to the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
