His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday ordered Jaafar bin Abi Talib Mosque in Southern Mazar, Karak, be rehabilitated and renovated.

The Royal directives were issued following reports about the mosque's poor conditions and malfunctioning heating and cooling systems.

A team of engineers from the Royal Court visited the mosque on Wednesday to evaluate the situation before taking the needed actions.
