His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday issued directives to dispense JD100 for each serving and retired employees in the public sector, governmental institutions, the Jordan Armed Forces, security apparatuses as well as beneficiaries of the National Aid Fund on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

The Royal makruma seeks to ease economic hardship and secure basic living needs ahead of Eid Al Fitr.

Beneficiaries also include day labourers, employees of state-run independent institutions, public universities, municipalities, pensioners on the payroll of the Social Security Corporation and families that receive financial support from the National Aid Fund.
