King Opens Talks with Blair

Participants in the Euro-Med Ministerial conference for Energy, which was concluded in Rome on Tuesday, decided to announce the establishment of a rostrum of Rome-Med Energy.
During the two-day conference, Jordan signed an initiative of intension with Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey and Cyprus in addition to European Union aiming at achieving cooperation in the field of conducting studies on projects of electric link and that of regional gas pipelines.
In a statement to Jordan News Agency, Secretary General of Ministry of Energy/ Head of the Jordanian delegation to the conference Khaldoun Qteishat said that the conference aims at enhancing the Euro-Med partnership in the field of energy.
During the conference, Qteishat delivered a speech in which he said that Jordan's participation affirms its commitments to the dialogue, consultation and partnership with a view to achieve a new phase of security peace and prosperity.
