His Majesty King Abdullah II on Thursday opened Arab Potash Company's factory, the largest agricultural industry project in the Kingdom and expected to put Jordan amongst the group of biggest agricultural food industry on the world's level.



Opening the factory, which was constructed in February 2000 by a partnership between APC and the Finish company Kamera Grohow, is a fruit of His Majesty King Abdullah II's consistent efforts to further enhance national economy and promote foreign, Arab and local investment in Jordan.



His Majesty toured the factory, which is expected to produce 150 thousand tons of Potassium fertilizers annually, parallel to 10 per cent of the 1,2 ton of world production.
