His Majesty King Abdullah II on Wednesday sent a telegram to the Algerian president, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, offering his deepest condolences to the victims of yesterday's terrorist attack that targeted the military academy of the National Gendarmerie (Al Darak) forces in Issers, east of Algeria.

The King condemned the criminal acts and confirmed Jordan's support for and solidarity with Algeria in its battle against terrorism.

He wished those who were injured in the attacks a quick recovery.
