His Majesty King Abdullah met on Wednesday with US Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) and Senator Joseph Lieberman (ID-Connecticut).

During the meeting, King Abdullah discussed with the senators the current regional situation and reviewed Jordanian-US relations.

Also Wednesday, the King met separately with Senator Christopher Coons (D-Delaware) and Senator Joe Manchin (D-West Virginia) with whom he reviewed the latest developments in the region and means to enhance the Jordanian-US ties.

King Abdullah also received a delegation from the US National Defence University with talks focusing on regional developments as well as the ongoing cooperation between the two countries.
