His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday underscored America’s role in supporting the Middle East peace process and eliminating obstacles to progress.

During a meeting with US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Jeffrey Feltman, discussions focused on the latest regional developments and efforts to push the peace process forward.

King Abdullah also described the measures Jordan is taking to expedite comprehensive political and economic reforms.

The King and Feltman reviewed the current situation in the Arab region as well as means of forging closer cooperation between Jordan and the US in various fields.

Feltman also highlighted his country's role in helping the regional push for political reforms.
