His Majesty King Abdullah II on Sunday reaffirmed Jordan`s stand calling for a complete Israeli pullout from the Palestinian self-rule areas.

During a meeting with a delegation from U.S. Retired Military men, King Abdullah reviewed the perilous situation in the Palestinian areas and stressed the necessity for Israel to commit itself to implementing the Security Council resolutions and the agreements concluded with the Palestinians . The only way to realize a just, comprehensive and lasting peace is through restoring the Palestinian people`s rights and the occupied Arab land as well as through establishing the Palestinian independent state on the Palestinian national soil, King Abdullah said during the meeting which was attended by Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein and the Chief of the Royal Court.

King Abdullah referred to Jordan`s continuous efforts including the humanitarian aid to alleviate the Palestinian people`s suffering and stressed the international community`s responsibility to put an end to this intense situation.
