His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday met with a delegation of US Senate staffers and briefed them on efforts to achieve comprehensive regional peace, stressing the importance of the US role in this regard.

King Abdullah also briefed the delegates on the Kingdom's efforts towards economic development through implementing mega-projects.

He also emphasised the importance of developing cooperation between Jordan and the US, underlining American support for development programmes in the Kingdom.
