His Majesty King Abdullah discussed with UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Ben Zayed Al Nahyan ways to tackle challenges facing the Arab nation.

Talks also focused on ways to sustain the ceasefire between Palestinians and Israelis, achieve Palestinian national reconciliation and develop bilateral ties between Jordan and the UAE.

At the meeting, King Abdullah emphasised that Arab countries need to coordinate to reach a unified position on how to involve the international community in the Middle East peace process, especially the new US administration, in a way that ensures tangible progress.
