His Majesty King Abdullah on Saturday held talks with Sultan Qaboos of Oman that focused on bilateral relations and the latest regional developments.
During the meeting, the two leaders stressed the deeply rooted historic Jordanian-Omani ties, expressing keenness on enhancing them in all fields to serve the interests of the people of the two countries.
They also discussed the latest developments in the Middle East, especially peace efforts and the Syrian crisis.
The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Ghazi, King’s chief adviser for religious and cultural affairs and personal envoy, and Omar Bin Abdul Muniem Al Zawawi, special adviser for external liaison to Sultan Qaboos.
Upon arrival at the airport, the King was received by Sultan Qaboos and high-ranking Omani officials as well as Jordan’s Ambassador to Oman Meteb Zaben.
