His Majesty King Abdullah on Saturday held talks with King Abdullah Ben Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia, focusing on the latest regional developments and the development of bilateral relations.
Their Royal Highnesses Prince Hamzah, Prince Hashem, Prince Talal Ben Mohammad and Prince Ghazi, the King's special adviser and personal envoy, attended the meeting. Prime Minister Nader Dahabi, Royal Court Chief Bassem Awadallah, King's Adviser on Tribal Affairs Sharif Fawaz Zaben, Chief Islamic Justice Ahmad Hilayel, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff General Khaled Sarayreh and Jordan's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Qaftan Majali were also present at the talks.
Upon arrival at King Abdul Aziz International Airport, the King Abdullah was received by Governor of Mecca Prince Khalid Al Faisal and a number of senior Saudi officials as well as the Jordanian Ambassador in Riyadh.
Ahead of the meeting with the Saudi monarch, King Abdullah performed Umra (the lesser pilgrimage) and Isha and Taraweeh prayers in Mecca's Beit-allah-alharam.
