His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday met with a delegation from the S. Daniel Abraham Centre for Middle East Peace.

During the meeting, the King highlighted endeavours taken to overcome obstacles to resuming the peace process. The King also underlined the important role of the US in relaunching serious and effective Israeli-Palestinian negotiations to achieve comprehensive peace guaranteeing an independent Palestinian state.

Established in 1989, the centre is a private, nonprofit, non-partisan US organization that supports the two-state solution and the Arab Peace Initiative and works to reach peace in the Middle East. Royal Court Chief Nasser Lozi and the King's Adviser Ayman Safadi also attended the meeting.
