His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday said Jordan will continue to promote the principles of interfaith dialogue and understanding as a model of Muslim-Christian coexistence.

During a meeting with Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem Fuad Twal and newly named Latin Bishop of Jordan Maroun Lahham, the King stressed that Jordan will continue to set an example of religious tolerance and interfaith dialogue.

Bishop Lahham commended the King’s role in promoting tolerance and harmony between Muslims and Christians in the country.
