His Majesty King Abdullah held talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday focused on the direct talks, scheduled to start Thursday.

King Abdullah stressed that the negotiations should tackle all final status issues and make substantial progress towards the emergence of the Palestinian state in line with internationally agreed on terms of reference.

The King reiterated that the two state-solution within a regional context is the sole way to achieve security and stability in the region.
