His Majesty King Abdullah returned home on Thursday after a brief visit to the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh, where he held talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

During the visit, the two leaders discussed bilateral relations, as well as regional developments and efforts to end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict based on the two-state solution, a Royal Court statement said.

King Abdullah congratulated Mubarak on his successful recovery from gall bladder surgery at Heidelberg Hospital in Germany last month.

The King was accompanied by Royal Court Chief Nasser Lozi.
