King meets Luxembourg’s Foreign Minister

His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday emphasized the European role in ending the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the achievement of a two-state solution on the basis of the 1967 borders.

At a meeting with Luxembourg’s Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn, King Abdullah highlighted measures taken to expedite the economic, social and political reform process in Jordan.

He also pinpointed opportunities to expand cooperation between Jordan and Luxemburg and to systematically develop cooperation at all levels, especially in the areas of investment, trade and economy.

For his part, Asselborn commended Jordan’s reform efforts, saying the Kingdom is considered a model for reform in the region, according to the statement.

He underscored his country’s commitment along with the EU to support Jordan politically and economically to render His Majesty’s efforts to achieve reform successful.
