His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday received Kuwait's Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Air Marshal Fahad Al Amir and an accompanying delegation.

The King highlighted the strong relations between Jordan and Kuwait as well as Jordan's keenness to further boost them in the interest of both countries.

Talks also covered cooperation and exchange of defence expertise.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Khaled Jamil Sarayrah and the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Sheikh Faisal Al Hmoud Al Malik Al Sabah.

The Kuwaiti army chief, who took part in the 5th meeting of the Joint Jordanian-Kuwait Higher Committee for Military Cooperation, met last Monday with Prime Minister Nader Dahabi as well as army chief General Khaled Jamil Sarayrah.
