King meets Jumblatt

His Majesty King Abdullah II on Monday received Walid Jumblatt, leader of the Progressive Socialist Party of Lebanon and discussed issues of mutual interest, including the latest regional developments, bilateral ties and means to foster cooperation between the two countries.

During the talks, the King voiced his pride in Jordanian-Lebanese ties and keenness to boost them in various fields. He also stressed Jordan's support for Lebanon's efforts to boost its security and stability.

The meeting was attended by Royal Court Chief Nasser Lozi, King's Adviser Ayman Safadi, Lebanese Minister of Transport Ghazi Areedi, Lebanese State Minister Wa'el Abu Faour and the deputy leader of the Progressive Socialist Party Dureid Yaghi.
