His Majesty King Abdullah received on Thursday Jordanian athletes who took part in the 2012 London Olympics.
During the meeting, attended by His Royal Highness Prince Feisal, president of the Jordan Olympic Committee, King Abdullah commended the athletes’ efforts during the Games, but underlined the need to provide all means of training and rehabilitation to ensure better results in the next Olympics.
A delegation of five men and four women competed in five sports — taekwondo, boxing, athletics, swimming and equestrian — during the London Olympics, which concluded on Sunday.
