His Majesty King Abdullah today met with Iraqi Vice-President Khudeir Musa Al Khuzai, who heads his country's delegation to the Arab Summit, and discussed bilateral relations and ways of cementing them in various fields.
During the meeting, King Abdullah and Vice-President Al Khuzai discussed developments in the Middle East, particularly efforts to achieve just and comprehensive peace, as well as the crisis in Syria, its repercussions on the countries of the region, and the difficulties of hosting increasing numbers of Syrian refugees.
They expressed hope that the summit will contribute to promoting joint Arab action in the face of various challenges.
In a separate meeting with Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zidan, His Majesty discussed ways to strengthen and develop relations between Jordan and Libya in various fields.
The meeting touched on means of boosting joint Arab solidarity and current developments in the Middle East, namely peace efforts and Syria.
