His Majesty King Abdullah on Saturday met on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum on the Middle East Iraqi Vice-President Adel Abdul Mahdi for a discussion of regional developments and bilateral relations.

The King stressed support for efforts to achieve peace and stability in Iraq, which are a basic pillar for the region's security and stability.

The Iraqi vice-president hailed King Abdullah's support for Iraq and its people, stressing Iraq's keenness to boost relations with Jordan in various fields.

The meeting was attended by Royal Court Chief Nasser Lozi and the King's Advisor Ayman Safadi.
