King Meets Ibrahimi and Turkish Prime Minister

His Majesty King Abdullah II Monday met at Beit Al Barakah UN Secretary General envoy to Iraq Al Khaddar al-Ibrahimi, who conveyed to King Abdullah a letter from UN Secretary Koffi Anan on the future of Iraq.



The King and Ibrahimi discussed the UN potential role in Iraq and the procedures that can be taken to restore peace and stability in the country and rebuild its institutions. Iraq needs support from all parties to surmount its current crisis, King Abdullah said.



In another development, King Abdullah and Queen Rania had another meeting in presence of HRH Prince Ali bin Al Hussein and Miss Reem al- Ibrahimi with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife, who have just concluded a private visit to the Kingdom.
