His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday held talks with Mohammad Jassem Al Saqer, head of the Arab Council for Regional and International Affairs.
During the meeting, King Abdullah underlined the council's significant role in enhancing joint-Arab action and building unified positions to overcome political and economic challenges facing the Arab world.
Saqer briefed the King on the council's tasks and objectives geared towards serving Arab causes and interests through addressing influential regional and international decision makers.
The council, launched last June, comprises key independent political figures from across the Arab world.
