His Majesty King Abdullah II on Tuesday received Estonian Prime Minister Andrus Ansip and discussed with him ways to boost bilateral cooperation ties in the various fields.
During the meeting, attended by Prime Minister Samir Rifai, Royal Court Chief Nasser Lozi and King's adviser Ayman Safadi, King Abdullah highlighted the opportunities to expand cooperation between Jordan and Estonia, particularly in the fields of economy, investment, energy and tourism with the participation of the two countries' private sectors.
The King expressed hope that agreements signed during the Estonian premier's visit will cement bilateral cooperation to serve mutual interests.
Talks also covered current regional developments and efforts to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on the basis of a two-state solution and within a regional context.
Rifai, meanwhile, briefed the King on outcomes of his discussions with Ansip aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation.
