His Majesty King Abdullah described public-private sector partnerships in economic decision-making as an effective tool for economic development.
During a meeting with economic figures at the Royal Court, the King reiterated the importance of continuing partnership with the private sector and benefiting from its suggestions regarding the economy. He stressed that economic reform remains a top priority and is a continuous process, the positive effects of which will only be felt over time.
The King said that mechanisms to implement the National Agenda and the recommendations of the We Are All Jordan forum have been established, adding that there are a number of positive indications that the national economy is already on the right track.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minster of Finance Ziad Farez said that justice and equal opportunity are principles that guide government action. He said described the achievements of the past few years as great, considering the challenging regional circumstances.
