His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday met a delegation from the US House of Representatives’ subcommittee on defence appropriations committee and discussed means to foster bilateral ties.

Talks also covered the US Congress’ support to Jordan to enable it to overcome challenges imposed by the regional crises, in addition to efforts to bring about peace in the Middle East and the latest developments in Syria.

The delegation, headed by Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-NJ), is currently on a visit to the Kingdom as part of a regional tour.
