King meets chairman of KPMG

His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday met with KPMG Chairman Tim Flynn and discussed bilateral cooperation, particularly in attracting international investments into Jordan.

King Abdullah highlighted Jordan as a conference centre for the company's partners and clients in the Middle East and South Asia.

He also briefed him on the competitive advantages of the investment environment in the Kingdom and on development plans and mega-projects to be executed in the water, energy and transportation sectors.

KPMG's MESA (Middle East and South Asia) Annual Partners Conference will start next Sunday at the Dead Sea with the participation of more than 120 of KPMG's partners.

The conference will discuss the current economic situation worldwide and ways to attract international partners to invest in Jordan.

KPMG is a global network of firms offering audit, tax and advisory services.
