His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday discussed with Jung Jin Seo, chairman and chief executive officer of South Korean biopharmaceutical company Celltrion, and Mazen Darwazah, chairman of Hikma Pharmaceuticals, prospects of cooperation in the field of drug manufacturing.

During the meeting, King Abdullah highlighted the importance of boosting cooperation between local and international pharmaceutical companies and exchanging technology and knowledge to develop Jordan's pharmaceutical industry which plays an important role in the country's economic growth.

He also stressed the importance of increasing cooperation between the private sectors in Jordan and South Korea.
