His Majesty King Abdullah met on Friday with Governor of California Jerry Brown, ahead of the summit meeting with US President Barack Obama.

During the meeting, King Abdullah and Brown discussed ways to boost economic cooperation, especially in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector, renewable energy and capacity building.

California has the US’ largest economy, with a $2 trillion GDP. It is also home to 12 per cent of the US population.
