His Majesty King Abdullah II on Monday received at Al Husseiniya Palace, British Secretary of State for Defence Affairs, Michael Follan, who is currently visiting the Kingdom as part of a regional tour.

Talks during the meeting covered means to forge closer ties between Jordan and Britain in the military and defence fields, and the latest developments in the region, mainly efforts to counter terrorism and extremism.

The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein, Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff and King’s Adviser for Military Affairs Mashal Al Zaben.
