His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday met in Washington with US Vice President Joe Biden and discussed the latest developments in the Middle East, focusing on efforts to achieve peace between the Palestinians and the Israelis as well as the crisis in Syria.

Talks during the meeting also dealt with the strategic Jordanian-US ties and ways to further boost cooperation in various fields.

The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.
