King meets Armitage

His Majesty King Abdullah II and U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage Tuesday reviewed current efforts aimed to reinvigorate the Road Map peace plan and create the favorable atmosphere to help the Palestinians and Israelis resume peace talks.



During a meeting, attended by Royal Court Minister Samir Rifai, Foreign Minister Hani Mulki, Minister of Planning and
International Cooperation Basem Awadallah and Jordan's Ambassador to Washington Karim Gewar, the two sides stressed the necessity to help the Iraqi government hold free elections in all areas in the country and with the participation of all Iraqis.
