His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday met with the emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, on the sidelines of the Arab summit hosted by Kuwait.

The two leaders praised the historic relations between the two countries, and discussed recent developments in the region, especially the efforts to achieve peace and stability in the Middle East.

King Abdullah also met with Lebanese President Michel Sleiman, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and UN-Arab League envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi. Discussions covered ways to enhance joint Arab action, the Syrian crisis and issues of common interests.
