His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday left Amman for a working visit to the United Kingdom, during which he will meet with British Prime Minister David Cameron, Foreign Minister William Hague and a number of senior officials.
Talks during the meetings will tackle regional developments, especially the Syrian crisis, means of reviving peace efforts based on the two-state solution, as well as the European role in the peace process and regional security and stability.
Bilateral ties will also be discussed.
His Royal Highness Prince Feisal Al Hussein was sworn in as regent before cabinet members.
