King leaves to UAE and Bahrain

His Majesty King Abdullah left Amman on Tuesday for a visit to the United Arab Emirates, during which he will meet with UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Ben Zayed Al Nahyan.

The two leaders will discuss developments in the Middle East, particularly efforts to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict according to the two-state solution and international references and within a regional frame to achieve comprehensive peace.

The talks will also tackle means of institutionalizing joint Arab efforts to serve the higher interest of the Arab nation in addition to developing bilateral relations.

On Wednesday, King Abdullah will travel to Dubai to meet His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President & Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai to discuss the developments in the region and means of enhancing bilateral cooperation.

The King will then head to the Bahraini capital Manama for talks with King Hamad Ben Essa Al Khalifa on regional developments, efforts to achieve regional peace and means of enhancing Arab solidarity to face challenges.

The two leaders will also discuss means of further enhancing bilateral relations in various fields.

King Abdullah is accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Ben Al Hussein, the King's personal envoy and special advisor His Royal Highness Prince Ghazi Ben Mohammad, Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court Nasser Lozi, the King's Advisor for Tribal Affairs Shareef Fawwaz Zabben Abdullah, the King's Advisor Ayman Al Safadi and Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh.

His Royal Highness Prince Hamzah Bin Al Hussein was sworn in as regent in the presence of the cabinet.
