King Leaves to Turkey

Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania head to Ankara in a two-day official visit for talks with the Turkish President Ahmad Sezer and prime minister Recep Tayyip Ardogan on enhancing bilateral ties and augment economic and commercial cooperation.



The King will also meet Turkish businessmen to inform them on the available investment chances.



In statements to Turkish media, King Abdullah described the Jordanian-Turkish relations as solid and reiterated Turkey's strategic role and position in the Middle East.



Their Majesties are accompanied by an official delegation that includes the prime minister, minister of the Royal Court, deputy prime minister for economic affairs, minister of trade and industry, minister of foreign affairs and minister of planning.



His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Ben Al Hussein was sworn in as regent in front of the cabinet.
